At Cleanable, we do more than clean, we create opportunities. As a commercial cleaning and property maintenance social enterprise, we provide award-wage jobs to people who’ve faced barriers to employment. Whether it’s mental health challenges, disability, or long-term unemployment, we believe everyone deserves a fair go and a chance to thrive.

Our team shows up every day with professionalism, pride and purpose. From office buildings to parks and waterways, we deliver high-quality services while building stronger, more inclusive communities.

This Year’s Impact

The Cleanable Social Impact Report 2024–2025 highlights what’s possible when business and community work together:

  • 22,987 hours of paid employment delivered

  • 38 staff employed, all paid at award wages

  • $784,106 in wages invested back into households and local economies

  • 30,000+ kilograms of litter removed from public spaces

Every shift, every contract, and every partnership helps someone build confidence, gain skills and take steps toward independence.

Growing Across Borders: Cleanable QLD

A major milestone this year was the launch of Cleanable QLD in Brisbane. In just nine months, we’ve:

  • Welcomed Nando’s Australia as a key client

  • Built strong operational foundations

  • Partnered with fellow social enterprises like Fruit2Work, Give Industries, Multhana Property Services and White Box Enterprises

This expansion has already created new roles for Queenslanders, proving that inclusive employment is good for people, good for business, and good for communities.

Partnerships That Drive Change

Our long-standing partnership with Hume City Council continues to make a difference. Cleanable maintains over 160 parks and green spaces, creating 14 local jobs and helping keep neighbourhoods clean, safe and welcoming.

With clients like Nando’s Australia embracing social procurement, we’re showing that quality services and positive social impact can go hand in hand.

Cleanable is growing—and so is our impact. With new roles and partnerships on the horizon, we remain focused on delivering excellent services while creating more opportunities for people to build skills, earn an income and thrive.
